Ministry Planning Team is looking forward to getting the members of St. John’s involved in examining our current and potential ministries. Ministries are how we demonstrate our faith through welcoming, worshipping, and witnessing (or serving) our brothers and sisters here at St. John’s and in the communities around us, both near and far.
During the 1st half of 2017, the Ministry Planning Team will be asking you to consider the following questions:
• Who are we? (or what makes us St. John’s?)
• Where are we? (to identify the strengths/challenges of St. John’s and our community)
• Where are we going? (to develop specific goals/vision for future ministry)
On the weekend of January 21 and 22, we’ll invite you for worship that blends in ministry conversation, to consider the first question of “Who are We?”
For 5:00 Saturday worshippers, we’ll also combine worship and conversation. Sunday morning 8:00 worship will lead to small group conversations at 8:30. We are asking you 9:45 worshippers to consider coming early that morning to participate in these conversations and refreshments!
More information will be shared as we continue down the path of answering the question – “What is God Calling Us to Be and Do?” If you have any thoughts about our upcoming ministry conversations, please contact Pete Kutzora, George Liberatore, or Pastor Paul.
