In the tiny bush village of Kimokouwa Dr. Steve Friberg and his wife Bethany have committed their lives to living and ministering with the Maasai of northern Tanzania. Steve’s father had been a Lutheran pastor serving as a missionary in the region and Steve was born and raised among the Maasai. He is highly respected, not only as a bush doctor, but as a Christian devoted to sharing the love of Christ through his work. He and his family live in the village of Ketumbeine on the edge of the massive Serengeti Plain. Steve’s primary work is to support the local doctors of the Maasai, by providing them with the opportunities to upgrade their education as well as helping with renovation projects for each clinic. Bethany works with the women of the area on bead projects that provide a source of income. Join us Sunday, November 13th to meet and greet Dr. Steven and Bethany Friberg and to learn about God’s mission there and to thank them for serving as missionaries in Tanzania!
