We were approached by the Jackson Alcoholics Anonymous group as they were seeking a new meeting space for their Tuesday evening meetings. Our church council considered their request and believes that’s a good use for our basement-which is normally empty on Tuesday nights! So they’ll start meeting here in May, and will make a monthly donation to help with utility costs. (The Kirchhayn Trotters 4H also uses our basement the 1st Thursday of each month!) This helps us be A Church for the Community. When the AA Group has an ‘open’ meeting, we’ll try to let you know, so that anyone who might benefit can try it out!
