Saturday, September 21 is the day to get involved in this year’s God’s Work, Our Hands day of service. We have an opportunity to take care of God’s creation and our neighbors by visiting and delivering flowers to hospice patients and shut-ins, playing bingo at our local nursing home, build with Habitat for Humanity, or maintain hiking trails in Washington/Ozaukee County. If you can’t help this day, always look for ways to do God’s work in your everyday life.
Please see the enclosed brochure for more information. Complete the last page and return to the box in the Gathering Space, or in the offering plate. If your entire family is helping put the initials of each person next to the item in which you’d like to participate.

All People’s Church – We are collecting food for the “All People’s Church” food pantry. Here is a list of items you can start bringing now. Canned vegetables, tuna, chunky soup, canned ravioli, hamburger/tuna helper, oatmeal, cereal, pancake mix, box potatoes, mac & cheese, rice, spaghetti, ramen noodles, cream of mushroom soup, canned fruit. Grab a paper bag with an attached list for easy shopping!
Lutheran World Relief Health Kits: Bath Towels, Sturdy Combs, Nail Clippers, Bar Soap
Elevate Inc. of Washington County (based out of Jackson)
Is in need of personal daily care items, in brand new condition, such as toothbrushes, tooth paste, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, soap, combs, brushes.
See the bins and bags near the food pantry shelf. We’ll deliver all these items in September. Anything you can donate will help!
